A TEAM EFFORT
Kelly Oneil, Physical Therapist and owner of Bodies In Balance Physical Therapy in Beverly Hills is joined in partnership with her mother, Judy Oneil, business manager.
Kelly graduated from the University of North Texas in 1995 with her undergraduate degree in Music Performance. Through the years, her continued participation and love of sports directed her to return to school and attain a Masters of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami 2001.
Kelly's expertise earned her a spot as part of the sports medicine crew for the National Men's and Women's Beach Volleyball team. Having recently returned from the FIVB World Championships in Gstaad Switzerland.
Here in Beverly Hills, Kelly is active in the community, coaching locally for the American Youth Soccer Organization and related all-star teams. Additionally she lectures parents becoming AYSO certified coaches on proper soccer training techniques to prevent injury and what to expect when an injury occurs.
Kelly's philosophy of physical therapy treatment begins with listening to the patient and understanding their long-term goals. To ensure a thorough assessment, Kelly combines her background in biomechanics, evidence-based medicine and clinical expertise to identify the patient's dysfunction. Then, utilizing manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise and physical therapy modalities, an individualized plan of care is implemented to improve the patient's injury and functional deficit.
